The ribbed fabric of this skirt is super stretchy and can definitely accommodate a variety of variations of L and XL as well. I’m currently 37/47 waist/hips and, while it fits close, it doesn’t look bad or too small. I have also worn it since I was a good bit smaller, so again, flexible. However it does have a 9” slit on each side and that makes the actual length shorter than I prefer at this point. And while it does have pockets note that the stretchiness of the fabric means your phone will bulge. Very loved casual skirt that has been around the world with me!
