Sweater is made using the Spring Fling Sweater pattern by Laurel Gervitz for Knit Collage in size 4 (chest circ 38.5") - recommended to be worn with 0-2" of positive ease, shown in photos with 1"of positive ease (worth noting, I can still easily wear this with 5-6" of negative ease because of the A-line shape, so sizing is versatile). Worn once for photos only; tried on several times, but I never kept it on to wear. Yarn cost was ~$270; and the sweater was knit over the course of 1 week. Photos over the black dress are taken on me with a larger body (would be a size 5 if worn per patterns recommended fit) with chest of 46", bicep (at rest) of 15.5", and bicep (flexed) of 16". Photos over denim dress are taken with recommended fit range per chest measurement.

“I really like wearing this over a dress, as it's cropped. I held onto this for a long time because it makes me think of my mother, who loved this color combo and how feminine it was (something I rarely lean into) - the hope was to make her a shawl in the same colors; unfortunately, she died before I had the chance. Rather than holding onto a sweater I never wear, I intend to make the shawl she wanted for myself and wear it to remember her.”
