This is a nearly finished Olya shirt (Paper Theory Patterns). I made this using Julia Allison Cost yellow bouquet textile fabric: a 100% cotton corduroy body with contrasting black rayon/cotton twill accents. I’d already used some of this fabric for trousers and had plenty left, so I started this shirt next, but I’ve realized the Olya pattern just isn’t my favorite fit/style after wearing another one I finished. What is here is solid and tidy: seams are finished with a serger in black poly thread, and all major pieces are assembled. What remains to be done is: attaching the collar and collar stand sewing buttonholes + attaching buttons of your choice hemming I’d love for it to go to someone who loves the Olya aesthetic and will enjoy finishing it up and wearing it.
