An icon of Peruvian/Andean tourism, the alpaca sweater. While I've never traveled to Peru, my best friend from high school did, and she passed this sweater on to me years ago. I haven't worn it for a couple years now. I think the yarn is probably a blend of Alpaca and nylon or acrylic, but this sweater has no tags. It's very soft. Recently gave it a wool wash and de-pilled the sleeves and spots with heavier wear, but it's in great shape and ready to keep you cozy this winter :)
