This is precious huipil that I got at the estate sale of a woman I really admire. I don't know its story but it appears to be handmade and hand-embroidered. Some of the embroidery is showing its age - little snags or spots where it's beginning to fray, but is overall in good shape. Has a couple tiny, old stains. I don't gravitate towards the colors in this blouse so I'm hoping someone is willing to care for it and give it a new home!
