Christine: I adore this piece, but am not wearing it like it deserves. It's so comfy and cute. Fits just slightly small than a L Big Bud Press jumpsuit in my opinion, but with some stretch. Grr to my abdomen swelling throughout the day and making the buttons pull. I might be picky because it does fit part of the day, and I'd like to have something equally special. Previous: Such a fun upcycle but I’m not reaching for it as much anymore. —— I’ve been wanting to rework this jumpsuit for a hot minute. I bought it last year (NWT) tried it on and immediately knew it wouldn’t work for me. I missed the return window and into my consignment bin it went. I knew I wanted to rework it in some way but hadn’t felt the inspiration or energy to do it. Well, today I pulled out some quilting scraps that I purchased from our local craft salvage (it’s called the Idea Store and it’s amazing!!) and decided to make a quilted piece to sew onto this. I did end up ripping a hole in it on my first attempt sewing it (thanks seem ripper) and there are also some stray orange threads and tiny holes from my first attempt as well (see pics) This denim is super soft and I really wish this would work for me but it is waaaayyy too long for me (best suited for a taller person as I’m 5 ft 3).
