1930's silhouette dress

This dress was built by a costume design student at Rutgers around 2000. I'm not entirely sure how I ended up with it. It has a lot of nice period details, like hand-stitched ruching at the waist, shoulders and sleeves, pointed seams at the hips, and piping. Perfect picnic dress.
