NO means NO. π At first glance, this Juno kerchief looks like a simple striped knit. But tilt it just so, and suddenly the message reveals itself: NO. Thatβs the magic of illusion knitting (also called shadow knitting) β two colours create a fabric that appears striped when viewed straight on, while a hidden image or word emerges when you look at it from an angle. This iteration of the Juno is knit in clay-coloured merino and burgundy baby camel wool, with the softest little accessibility upgrade. Iβve added baby camel wool corded edging, which is exceptionally soft and gentle against the skin, plus extra-long corded ties so the kerchief can accommodate a variety of bodies and be worn in different ways β around the neck, tied at the front, back, side, or wherever feels best for you. Because clothing should adapt to your body, comfort, mobility and personal style β not demand that your body adapt to the garment. The original bandana chart is credited to @seedecember. Iβve taken that design and reworked the finishing and ties to create my own more accessible, body-inclusive version, while using this opportunity to master a new technique that I plan to expand on in future designs. Measurements: β‘ Kerchief width: 59 cm / 23β β‘ Each tie: 66 cm / 26β β‘ Total length including ties: 191 cm / 75β β‘ Depth to bottom point: 22 cm / 9β Handknit by @val_and.co for @val_and.ewe in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. π¨π¦ $80 CAD + shipping DM to purchase. π Image descriptions: A handknit triangular kerchief hangs against a white wall, shown from several angles. The fabric features alternating vertical stripes of clay beige and deep burgundy. When viewed at an angle, the stripes form the bold word βNO.β The kerchief has a soft burgundy corded edging and two long matching ties extending from the sides. A close-up highlights the fuzzy, textured fibres of the merino and baby camel wool.

A recent thank-you
I think this is one of my most favorite Lucky Sweater trades. The knit is so, so soft and lovely. I can't wait to style it in winter! Thank you, Val!
