This is a project I hold close to my heart, but absolutely never wear. I hope someone else will love it too. I bundle dyed the main silk pieces, as well as dyed the pockets with Marigold from my garden. It is a zero waste pattern from Birgitta Helmerson’s book. It is intentionally float-y and oversized. I added some cream Rick rack trim to the bottom to sweeten it up a bit. The seams are only zigzag, and there are some creases that are hard to get out. This silk has been washed and has a soft wrinkly feel.
