I got this ILGWU union-made 1960s Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman mod dress from an Etsy vintage seller back in 2020, but I’ve only tried it on and never wore it out! It is an long-sleeved, high-neck, knit, tan dress (likely wool fabric) with bronze buckle details on the bodice layer, plus cute functional buttons on the back that cover the top section of the zipper. There are also in-seam side pockets! I’m 5’4” and this dress falls a little below my knees. Unfortunately, I found several (moth?) holes in the fabric and lining (photos of holes included) after receiving the dress in the mail. I held onto it for years with the idea of mending it, but now would rather trade (or even gift) it to someone who’d appreciate it more! This could be great for collectors, or if you’re a home sewist, you could use this garment as a base to recreate this unique mod dress pattern!

A recent thank-you

Thank you for gifting these, Isabel! I immediately put them on and wore them around the house. They’re the perfect complement to my gold holiday outfit!
