This is the garment that got me into my sewing hobby! I saw a picture of Brazilian designer Paula Rondon’s Clown Pants and, with no sewing by experience, decided I would learn with the singular goal of duping those pants. That said, these are the second garment I ever made, and they’re not perfect, but the seams are finished with bias tape and it has pockets and all the things a quality garment should have to different degrees of execution. The bottom third segment is delineated with an elastic, so they can be brought up and down your calf however you prefer to wear them. The fabric is a damask tablecloth I thrifted — very soft and airy. The fiber content is definitely natural. 99% sure it’s some kind of linen blend. I’m listing these because they just don’t get too much wear out of me, I’ve had them for a while but I’m still figuring out how to style them. These are obviously a one of a kind piece so sorry in advance if I’m picky!
