I sewed up these Elizabeth Suzann Clyde work pants with 6.75 oz Non-Stretch Cone Mills Denim Shirting back when I was an advanced beginner sewer and before I got my serger. I did make these pants very carefully though and finished all the seams neatly with my sewing machine. Made these with a size 6 pattern and slightly longer elastic so it wouldn’t be so tight to get up over the hips. I wore these pants a dozen times. The elastic developed a bit of waviness but it’s otherwise in great condition. These pants are no longer my size or current style, so seeing what else is out there.
