Sarah Crop Top

Worn two times at most. I love this piece, so I've held into it for years; unfortunately, I think I have a mohair sensitivity and don't wear it, at least not for long, so it's don't to load it along and let it get the love it deserves! Took 2 full weeks to make. All measurements taken with garment relaxed (unstretched) - they're plenty of stretch, see photos in listing and measurements below. Length from high point shoulder at neckline to hem - 21" Length from underarm to hem - 9.5" Photos with jeans are me within the recommended upper bust range from years ago (38"). Photos of me on the chartreuse dress are from me as an XL (chest 46", waist 40", bicep 15.5"). So, as you can see, it will fit a wide range of bodies depending upon your fit preference. Yarn ingredients: Navy sparkle - 97% Camelid - Alpaca, 3% Manufactured Fibers - Polyester (sparkle) Camel sparkle - 80% Manufactured Fibers - Acrylic (sparkle & core mohair is spun around), 20% Goat - Mohair Chartreuse - 100% wool From my Ravelry: Such a beautiful top and a delight to work up! This was a stash busting project for me. For my cc1 color, I used mohair and held it double, with the exception of the collar where I held it triple. I added a few extra row to the body, 8 rows total, after the colorwork was completed and decreased down to a size 2 (worked yoke in size 3) to accommodate for my bust and give a little waist shaping. While working the pleats, I used slightly short floats and locked every 6 st to give the mc a slightly pleated look and maintain a little body shaping. Finally, I did 7 rows of mc after completing the colorwork on both sleeves and finished with a very minor picot trim (worked only 1 extra stitch) in cc2. I wet blocked from shaping focusing on length and playing, while letting the width shirk slightly as the fibers desired.
