This is a sunshiney yellow jumper that I picked up at a thrift store in the Pacific Northwest circa 1992. I wore it to countless riot grrrl shows and under my gown to high school graduation. This is probably in the top ten favorite pieces of clothing I’ve worn in my life, and it’s amazing that it’s still going strong over 50 years after it was sewn on somebody’s home machine.

You can see me wearing this jumper on a Seaweed 7-inch record somewhere out there. I think it might have been on their cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Go Your Own Way. I was in the crowd, and the romper stood out enough for the photographer to center it in the shot.
