Beautiful jacket, got this in a trade forever ago and haven’t worn it because it’s too dang cold where I live. Someone in a warmer climate please give this some love!! ————— I made this jacket using vintage deadstock upholstery fabric I received from a trade on Lucky Sweater and the All Well Cardigan Coat pattern (size 2). I am a beginner when it comes to sewing so this jacket does have flaws, the binding isn't perfect and all seams are finished with pinking shears and there is some fraying (see photos). I noticed one spot on the fabric that had a snag near the left armpit but it is unnoticeable unless you're looking really up close. I really love this jacket, but I also made a dress out of the same fabric and feel like it might not get worn too often by me. The fabric is upholstery fabric and has stiffness and weight of canvas.
