Princess Seam Coat

Clocking in at a weighty 4.8lbs, this coat exemplifies “they don’t make them like they used to”! Very well made and substantial coat, with a thick and smooth lining, princess seams, nice pockets, a small stand-up collar, and a beautifully flaring skirt. I could’ve sworn it’s 100% wool (no materials tag), but I found a heavy full length coat online by the same brand (Tag says “Place de la Mode” which is Sears The Fashion Place) and it’s 80% wool, so let’s go with that to be safe. I sillily reinforced the buttons with bright green thread 13+ years ago. I’ve barely worn it since then because I moved to California. I’ve also been bulking up in the shoulders so it’s getting a little tight.
