Work Shorts - fit more like 1X/2X

Love the blue, green, white check pattern of these Big bud press work shorts. I bought them secondhand on posh. I have a black pair in 2X that fit me really comfortably but this pair feels snug in the belly so I would say it runs small. The waist fit great and was not a problem. The waist stretches up to 23” flat. A little pilling in the inner thigh which I can fabric shave before I send on its way.
