Janelle: amazing waterproof jacket, love the hood (keeps the rain off my glasses 🤓). I've had some body changes this year and sadly this jacket is now a bit too snug. Would love to trade for a similar jacket in a larger size! Newest owner:This jacket is awesome and waterproof, however the outerlayer does absorb some water making it heavier than is sustainable for me on long hikes! See last photo, this was after standing fully exposed in pouring rain for 2 hours. The inner layer does not let the water through in my experience with it. Recently washed and treated with Nikwax. Best fit for size 4-6! Im a size 8 and it worked well for me in spring summer, but i couldnt put a heavy sweater underneath. First owner: Love the fit and well thought out details on this jacket, but the colour washes me out. Worn for a week long trip to Vancouver where it kept me dry in torrential rain. Otherwise barely worn. Alder Apparel is now out of business - I would buy this in another colour if I could!
