Update: This is a handknit scarf made from baby alpaca yarn that I originally received through a trade and then turned into a finished piece. I really loved knitting with this yarn — it’s incredibly soft, lofty, and very warm — but I’ve realized I don’t actually need another scarf in my life. The pattern is the Simple Thing Scarf (or very close in style to the sophie scarf you’re seeing everywhere right now): clean lines, unfussy, and easy to wear. It’s a classic, gender-neutral piece that works with pretty much any wardrobe. Op: Two skeins of brown (official color is called Mushroom) 100% baby alpaca. So soft! Never used, I used up the other color I bought in this yarn. I didn’t save the original tag/sleeve for these but I bought this same yarn in other colors as well.
