Originally made as an XL in gifted presumed cotton very light almost gauzy fabric. and subsequently dyed and altered to be closer to an L. The thread did not take up the dye equally so stitching is visible on the intentional raw edges. Honestly this piece is the culmination of a lot of experimentation. The alterations were quickly done and not up to my usual standards, but it’s all internal and hidden. Photo of seams included. Hand embroidered heart aflame (inspired by Christi Johnson’s book) patch on back could be removed or placed elsewhere. It’s my favorite part of this piece that honestly makes it a bit harder to let it go.
