Slate Nightgown Dress

There’s so much to say about this dress. It’s a dream on the hanger for me. But my 32D/34C chest just does not fit in this dress. I tried having a tailor adjust the straps by adding some more material at the seam (see photos 6&7)- this can be totally undone and is a simple adjustment with a sewing machine. Also had her add a stitch at the bust (see photo) - also an easy fix to pop that out. All in all, it’s time for me to say goodbye to a very beautiful piece. I’d love to swap for another simple dress! **Please note- there is no give and I have to shimmy it over my shoulders. Once it’s on, it is very comfortable, but I think someone with broader shoulders might have a tough time getting this one on.
