cotton gauze hawaiian dress

i am once again on my “some older fast fashion was actually really well-made” bullshit!!! i have had this dress since HIGH SCHOOL and have worn the shit out of it and it’s still going strong! made out of the softest, lightest cotton gauze (with a slightly thicker white skirt lining that feels like the exact same cotton that handkerchiefs are made out of), she flows beautifully and is perfect in the summer. the little keyhole cutout is adorable and just a lil sexy, and though the pockets need to be ironed, they’re big enough to stick your whole hand in! i still love this dress, so i won’t be pushing hard to let her go, but i *am* absolutely drowning in dresses and should attempt a tiny cull. the middle seam under the keyhole was tacked together by my grandmother because i accidentally cut a hole in it when trying to snip a loose thread 🫠 but now it’s 95% unnoticeable!
