Reiki Sudo Nuno scarf A striking black and white post modern style The tag on this scarf does not have the fabric content, however, I was able to do a quick search and there is a very similar item on the MOMA design store page. Very likely a wool cotton blend The scarf is about 7.5 inches wide and almost 73 inches long. Including the MOMA description here: “MoMA Exclusive: Designer Reiko Sudo works exclusively with weavers and dyers in Kiryu, Japan, blending traditional practices with modern technologies to create distinctive textiles for Nuno (which means “fabric” in Japanese). The double-weave Stripey Stripe Wool-Cotton Scarf features both horizontal and vertical stripes for an eye-catching effect. Fluffy wool loop yarn has been woven in to give the piece a distinct crinkled texture. Sudo’s work is represented in MoMA’s collection and her designs were featured in the Museum’s 1998 exhibition Structure and Surface: Contemporary Japanese Textiles. The Nuno Stripey Stripe Wool-Cotton Scarf measures 71.5l x 11"w. Dry clean only.”
