I believe these to be Edwardian boots! There is a faded trademark on one that reads “TR….ARCH” on one of the boots but I can’t read the entire word. I also can’t find any other indications of what brand they might be, or how old they might be. I have compare them to other similar shoes I see for sale online and I think they’re probably late 1800s or early 1900s based on the dates given for similar shoes. They aren’t in great shape, but I’d like to think they could be restored. I don’t see any places where they are falling apart or have any rips. The soles are leather, both on the foot bed and the heel. I have had my size 8 1/2 feet in these boots before but my feet are wide and after taking a walk around the house I decided I didn’t wanna risk it anymore. I think someone with size 8 1/2 narrow feet or similar would fit these well.
“I found these in a flea market during my “obsessed with historic shoe construction techniques” phase and felt like the luckiest gal on the planet. ”
