Button-down dress

This is an early item from my sewing journey! It's made in a heavyweight linen and garment dyed. And is all French seamed. But you can definitely tell there are some rookie mistakes here and there. Like the front plackets not lining up perfectly at the bottom and some rough edges inside the sleeves. I also probably should have put one more button at the bottom but have been using safety pins to keep the placket closed. Lastly, there is a small mend in the front where it had gotten snagged. I think this style with the shallow v-neck and the tortoiseshell buttons is really cute and it reminds me of not perfect linen, linen fox and some of those other bespoke dress brands! I also really like the flutter sleeve detail.
