This is the first shirt I ever made! I don’t like wearing it! And I feel bad about that, but it’s true, and I’m not likely to try making one I like better until I move on from this one. It’s based on the 100 Acts of Sewing Top No.1 but they aren’t responsible for my amateurish skills. That being said; it’s a fine, solid, basic boxy top. The fabric is the Essex Yarn Dyed Classic Wovens Checkerboard in Black/White. NB: At some point when I was dissatisfied with it, I altered the original neckline a little (but that didn’t do it for me either). I’d love to see this live on with someone who has space in their heart/closet for a little piece of my sewing journey. 🥺🤗
