Purchased these secondhand only to receive and have to clean off loads of shoe polish which hid the spots on the leather. I have not had time to take to my cobbler to see if the leather can be restored. My guess is it could be cleaned and buffed to look more even. I LOVE Aurora shoes, and the Mary Janes are my favorite! If these were not a half size too large for me, I would probably put more effort into their refurbishment.
