I picked up this 1940s silhouette dress at an estate sale. I loved the shape and wanted to try to copy the pattern. It definitely wouldn’t fit me now though! The false button neckline, curved waist panel, and small collar are really cool design details and seems as if it was handmade- although I don’t know when. The fabric feels cool and drapes, maybe a rayon crepe? But I don’t know. I don’t think it’s really modern-wearable with its age spots but could maybe work for a stage costume. Open to gifting. Pet free smoke free home. Please don’t be shy about requesting gifts- happy to send multiples too!
