Me: I have a similar necklace that I wear more, so I'm putting it out there. Original: I purchased this at a local art fair from an indigenous Mexican artist. This piece gives me so much joy but I have been straying away from necklaces (particularly ones that aren’t feather light) so alas, it’s going up for swap! While this piece is beautifully made, there is one string that I saw exposed and I’m too afraid to snip it. It’s not noticeable but I wanted to closely inspect before putting it up for trade. The total length of this piece is 20 inches and it does have a little weight to it. So beautiful but have not found an occasion to wear.
