I made this out of a pair of jeans that developed an unfortunate crotch tear from my cousin’s bicycle commute, so most of the fabric was in beautiful condition while the pants were pretty much unrepairable. It’s my first time using grommets like this and there are some threads peeking out from around the metal, but they’re hardly noticeable (see photo). All sashiko hand-stitched by me.
