Zweig is a fingering weight yoke sweater highlighting colourwork and texture. I modified the lacework panel and knit a cable pattern instead. I knit this sweater in Brooklyn Tweed Loft, a 2-ply fingering weight woollen spun yarn. It’s soft yet rustic and has held up incredibly well over the years. Unfortunately, I don’t love how this sweater fits in the shoulders, as several others who have knit this pattern have also remarked. It would be better for someone with broader shoulders than me. I would recycle this beautiful yarn if I had the time, but with a baby at home and preparing to go back to work full-time, it’s time I passed this along.
