Quilted jacket

OK, here’s the deal with this. This jacket is brand new and in a fantastic condition except for a spot where somebody (not me! Someone gave me this because they felt bad about it) opened the package with a box cutter and accidentally made a cut in the front of the coat (see photos). Someone who knows sewing could probably fix this pretty easily. Or upcycle this into something cool. So i’m gifting this to whoever wants to give it life!
