Perfect Jean short

I bought these Jean shorts a couple of years ago using my birthday discount code on Madewell. They really are the perfect cut - short but no cheek peek, nice functional pockets, and i would call them a true medium rise. They're a little faded from washing and they came with a raw hem that I (admittedly kind of jankily) hand sewed above to prevent further fraying. I'm sure it'd be easy to undo or redo better! They no longer fit and I'd love to swap for a size 30 in a similar pair. Doesn't need to be an exact match but would love a black or dark wash pair of shorts with minimal stretch.
