Cozette Dress

A: I wanted this dress to work so badly, but sadly had the same issue with the bust being too large and with the seams enclosed I don’t think I’d be able to amend it in a way that wouldn’t detract from its beauty. J: same problem as last person! Too big in bust. It’s so Alice in wonderland dreamy! Needs the right home. S: Man, I love everything about this dress, it’s just so romantic! But it’s too big in the bust for me💔 Would love to find someone that can alter this for me? But also open to trades!❤️ 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 Maker: This dress 😅 I made it a few years ago for a friend’s wedding out of some linen-like old curtains and a quilt top I found at my local creative reuse center. I adore the super romantic silhouette and long ties, but it’s gotten too small, and my attempts to move the zipper further out weren’t as successful as I’d hoped. Curious to see if anyone else out there might be interested in picking up the project! It’s generally in good shape, through moving the zipper left some wear on the teal fabric and the adjustment still needs tapered down into the skirt area, it currently folds in on itself a little. Sewed for a size 10, but certainly go off of real measurements for this one!
