Lovely and warm wool mustard- colored sweater with maroon and blue stitched pattern. I wore this for years but it's time to pass it along. To answer your question, yes, it is a little itchy but I always wore it with a long sleeve shirt and didn't have a problem. No piling but there are three tiny holes as noted in the photo and not noticeable and could be mended easily.
