Last year I found a stack of napkins I’d forgotten about and had a lot of time on my hands, so I decided to hand-sew a shirt. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would, frankly. The quality of the linen is great, and I’ve washed this a few times and even thrown it in the dryer. It’s sturdy and wearable. I added some TBG detailing because I knew this thing was bound for Lucky Sweater, and I sewed in one of the original napkin labels so you can show it to anyone who asks where you got your shirt. “Why, it’s Williams Sonoma! What do you mean you didn’t know they made clothes?”
