Plaid cotton lined raincoat

“The story of this jacket is that my mother bought it for my grandmother, who, at the end of her life, had become crotchety and disliked all gifts (and most people, food, animals, sounds, you name it!). After she passed and my dad was cleaning out her house, he found it hanging in a closet with the tags still on. He gave it to me because it’s a perfectly good jacket, but it’s really not my vibe (and I have another raincoat), so I’ve only worn it maybe five times for short errands like walking the dog and getting the mail. Setting it free to break the cycle of it languishing in the closets of multiple generations of women in my family. I believe it may qualify as vintage at this point, but can’t say for certain.”
