Tried to gussy up this thrift find by replacing the buttons and adding ricrac trim at the bottom but it’s not doing it for me (plus it’s a bit small). Thick synthetic blend with new, smaller gold buttons to replace the original, shinier gold buttons (happy to send those too). Ricrac inexpertly/experimentally applied, though not a total failure. Definitely true black despite any navy tones in photos. Caveat emptor: this thing is cat-hair-philic 😸
