Akane yarn

Beautiful Noro yarn This is from a big bunch of yarn I purchased from an estate sale. I will be listing more from this purchase soon (I went overboard and need to clean house!). The yarn from this estate sale has a smell- I find it hard to describe. It’s a fragrance of some kind. You also have to really dig your nose in to smell it with this particular skein. It’s not unpleasant and doesn’t smell artificial like laundry detergent. It’s more like it was stored in a room next to a room that had some kind of potpourri, maybe? But even that doesn’t seem like an accurate description. I am extremely sensitive to smells, and don’t find it bad at all. I knitted a whole sweater out of yarn from this sale and after blocking, the smell disappeared completely. Listing it as “like new” due to the smell. Feel free to bundle these single skeins in my closet with others!
