Levis Tapered Mom Jeans

I got these off eBay trying to find a replacement for my favorite white tag Levi’s but alas, these don’t fit the same way. I’m a 31” waist and 41” hip for reference in sizing. They’re extremely tapered, so maybe cutting them into shorts would be a good idea. Nice heavyweight denim, I’m guessing at 90s but I’m not sure.
