60s navy suit jacket

I loved wearing this jacket with a cute skirt. Details: welted buttonholes, big green buttons. 3/4 length sleeves with elbow darts, from patch pocket with ric rac trim. I sewed this from Butterick 8297 using vintage materials from my stash. The material is unknown, but I think it’s all or mostly cotton. It reads like denim but is a lighter garment weight fabric. It’s a little faded. Interior seams are serged. If you hate the green buttons, I can switch them out with blue from my stash (you sew ‘em on!). I’m not sure why I’m giving this one up! It’s pretty sweet. Freshly laundered with unscented soap and air-dried.
