it‘s not a sweatshirt - knitting for olive

I‘m so sad I can‘t wear this sweater! The drape is absolutely gorgeous and I‘m in love with the color. It‘s made of the following yarns: Knitting for olive merino (powder) Tynn silk mohair (greige) I found out after knitting that I‘m very sensitive to mohair. I would say this particular mohair is more on the scratchy side with quite long hairs. I believe someone who isn‘t sensitive to mohair will adore this pullover. The pattern is called „it‘s not a sweatshirt“ by knitting for olive. I have washed and blocked it, and as a last resort to try and get out the (to me) scratchyness, I bathed it in fabric softener. It helped a little and now smells divine (not too much though!). I‘m able to wear it with something underneath so I might still be a little picky, as many of you probably understand it‘s quite a bit of work to handknit a sweater and the cost of material is also quite high in some cases (in this case around 160 usd). Stored folded (only on a hanger for pictures), non smoking, cat friendly household (though they have no access to my wardrobe).
