Tagua bangle
Curated ThriftDon’t want to buy it? This piece is open for trade too — swapping happens in the app.
This is a bangle made out of colored Tagua nut from Ecuador. You may have also heard it called vegetable ivory. It’s a very popular material to make jewelry out of in South America. I think the interior of the bangle is probably brass. Listed as good condition bc the color is wearing a bit in spots. It’s a bit snug to get onto my wrist these days so not getting the wear it deserves.
