custom hand-painted garments

I love creating art that becomes part of everyday life and style. I hand-paint garments with high-quality acrylic paint mixed with a heat-set fabric medium (flexible and machine washable but you can feel some stiffness on lighter weight fabrics). My primary sources of inspiration are the plants in my life, landscapes in my memory, and european folk motifs. I like working with bold yet earthy palettes and graphic forms. I am open to creating custom pieces for trades or commissions. Message me with any ideas!
