Plaid taffeta-esque skirt

I made this gathered skirt at the last minute for a holiday party one year. It’s a great festive print! I added two layers of tulle inside to give it a poofy factor over tights/slip, and the finish of those layers isn’t beautiful given the haste (see photos), but it works. The fabric is most likely a synthetic, and it’s noisy as it rustles. It was a lot of fun to wear at a party! It’s just been waiting for another outing for ages. Pet free smoke free home.
