Unique Smocked-Bodice Swing Dress

This dress was a perfect find from my go-to boutique in New Orleans (RIP lost & found NO). It originally came with detachable adjustable straps in the same fun 80’s-like pattern of the dress but one of the hooks was broken. I brought it to a tailor who assured me they could find a fabric match and make a new strap, only for them to lose the straps. So, I got plain black straps to use with it. It was such a saga though so I might be picky about trades! The length is measured of the skirt from the bottom of the bodice. Bodice is about 10” from the rounded top of the bust. Flat the pit to pit is 14” but it stretches to 17”+. The bust is super roomy inside. Straps are removable and adjustable. Zipper with hook and eye closure. The twist style of the bust is so cute and so flattering and super retro.
