super lightweight adjustable waist hiking shorts my MIL gave my wife! she didn’t end up using them, so into the LS verse they go! fully unfastened, the waist measures 16” flat, and they can be tightened from there with elastic on the inside of the waistband and a button on either side (see photos). they maybe used to be part of pants that were detachable shorts, but there’s no zipper or fastener or anything at the leg opening, so i can’t be sure. happy to gift these if there’s no equivalent trade!
