Kids hat

Hand-sewed this hat out of recycled materials! The size of kids' heads is forever a mystery to me but I'm guessing that this would fit a kindergarten-2nd grader. It has a very fun vibe that sort of reminds me of Perry the Platapus and sort of reminds me of the Backyardigans. It wants to be worn by a kid with character! It's story: I slightly felted a beautiful cashmere sweater making it just too snug... so I cut off the sleeves to make a vest, and then made this hat out of the sleeves!! There's a mend on one of the "ears" from its days as a sweater, which I think adds charm. The fleece was leftover in my fabric stash from my puppet making days. Lots of history in this hat! My hand-sewing skills are fine, and I think it'll all hold up, but I'm NOT AT ALL a professional so it's not the neatest stitching in the world, lol!!
