Raw Silk Dress

This piece found its next closet through a trade.
DonkeyGirl (a tiny, one-woman designer here in Montana) silk noil dress. I wish I could capture the color of this better - it’s a rich dark sage. Custom made and hand-dyed. Small area on the back where stitching is coming undone, but an easy fix. Worn a couple times - I have this in a different color and I wear it more often. No size, but would be best for xsmall/small. I’d love to trade this for an NPL or LinenFox sleeveless dress!
“This was going to be my wedding dress! (I had a very casual wedding.) I asked Julia (the one woman behind the Donkey Girl label) to make this custom for me out of raw, undyed silk. It was gorgeous but I ended up wearing a different dress after all, so she dyed it for me (because I don’t generally wear light colors). I have this same dress in grey that I wear all the time in the summer - would love to see this one in a new home!”
