Me: I desperately wanted this to look good on me, but I don't have the proportions to make this longer torso look good. Previous owner:: I never had a chance to wear this. The Marsala red doesn’t look great on me. 😕 Thought I would see if someone else could give her a home. Previous: Son de Flor “Classic” dress Marsala Red - a lovely wine colour. Short sleeves, Peter Pan collar, and buttons up the chest. Full swishy circle skirt that falls below the knee. Purchased from the pre-loved section of the Son de Flor website. Worn only a handful of times. In very good condition, except for minor pilling under the arm. Currently missing one button that I never got around to replacing, but I will happily repair before sending, or will include so you can repair it yourself. Washed approximately 5 times - always cold and on delicate, and hung to dry inside to avoid fading. I’ve included the current measurements of the Classic dress from the Son de Flor website. By my measurements, pit to pit is 19”, and the flat waist is 17”. I’ve come to terms with the fact that Son de Flor’s dress sizing, especially for dresses with buttons down the front, just don’t work for my size. When I bought dresses from them in the past, I tried to find a balance between my waist and bust size. But even when this dress fit me best, I had to compress my chest to avoid the buttons gaping. I’d definitely recommend this dress go to someone with a smaller chest. This dress in particular felt tight across my shoulders too - I measured the shoulders at 16” across. Coming from a home with pets, but I can carefully wash it before shipping. I can also steam or iron out some of the wrinkles - it’s just been crumpled in my closet for a bit!
